Soumitra Dutta is an Indian scholar, writer and entrepreneur. He was the dean of Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford between June 2022 and September 2025. Prior to joining Cornell, he was a professor of business and technology at INSEAD. In 1985, Dutta graduated with a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Indian Institutes of Technology in New Delhi.
